Fundraising to Make a Difference

On August 16, 2025, Pocono Camp and Glamp owners Shawn and Scott Lignore, and Kevin and Jennifer Jones, allowed us to host our first fundraiser in honor of our son, Dylan Dailey, at their camp. They are such remarkable people.

It was a beautiful day, filled with over 300 people, including family and friends.

Dylan was watching over us all day. As I looked around, my heart was so full of emotions. I lost my breath just seeing everyone who loved and cared for Dylan- and who continues to show up.

Dylan is missed so much, every single day, by so many people. His laugh, smile, and just everything about him. I wish I could turn back time just to have one more day…but it would never be enough, because I would always want one more day.

Each day, we continue to count our blessings. We thank God for all of the beautiful and wonderful memories He has given to us. We continue to pray for strength. We are always looking for a sign and one will just appear.

God sent signs to us all day. Beautiful monarch butterflies flew around the camp. Dimes and pennies were found in random places. The sky opened up with a little rain to shower us with love in the heat of the day.

We want to thank everyone who shared stories and videos about Dylan. It made my heart so happy to hear his voice and see his face in the videos. I truly enjoyed spending time with each and every one of you ❤️.

We also want to give a special thanks to everyone for your support and donations. We appreciate you all so much. We would also like to thank all of our friends and family for helping us and supporting us along our journey. As we continue to focus on Dylan, we are in the process of having signs made for Dylan’s Legacy, which will be placed on the trails this October.

Special thanks to Pocono Camp and Glamp for hosting the event; Pocono Horse Adventures; and Scott Lignore’s Jim Thorpe Carriage Rides for the donation of horse and carriage rides.

Thank you to our team:

Mia Dailey, Francesca DeLeo, Sydney Connors, Emma Connors, Nick Fayo, Mason Farnell, Ryder Wallace, Brian Bowen, and Jarrin Geisinger, who have worked endless hours to make this happen.

We also want to thank everyone who made a basket, collected sponsorships and donations, and all those who offered their time in preparation leading up to the event.

The QR code for pictures and videos will be posted for anyone who wants to add photos from our event.

The basket raffle and hopper were a huge success - thank you, Kathy and Ella Farnell.

The food was excellent - thank you to Dean Hayte and his crew for cooking the corn and chicken, and to Jud for cooking the pig.

Thank you to all of our friends who traveled from all around to volunteer for the day. We appreciate you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️.

Thank you,

Alexia and Jud Spain

Driven by Purpose

All I want to say is: “I wish someone did this for me.”

As individuals, we get to choose our path in life. We are faced with choices - some that we should never have to make. After a tragedy, you are put at a crossroad. One direction takes you nowhere. The other allows you to help make a positive change.

For Dylan, we have chosen a path that will make a difference by creating positive change. A path - a trail - where everyone is safe and makes it home.

Creating larger signs and increasing signage on the NY State trail system is our mission. We are working and collaborating with clubs to provide more signs in addition to the ones they already have. Teamwork is key, and only together can we make a change.

We look forward to working together to help make New York State snowmobile trails safer for everyone.

Generosity That Goes Above and Beyond

We ordered signs from City Signs. The owners, Jon and his wife Stacy, personally came to our home to meet us and delivered the signs. They then generously donated our first order of custom-made signs to Dylan’s Legacy and offered to help put them up with our team.

These signs will be placed on the NY snowmobile trails to help make them safer for everyone. We will be placing the signs on the trails in October.

I feel so blessed and grateful for the way the community has come together to support us on our journey and help us fulfill our mission for Dylan - to make the snowmobile trails safer.

We wanted to express how incredibly grateful we are to them and how much of an impact this will have on the entire snowmobile community.

Our Journey Begins

October 18, 2025 , Our Journey begins as our team gathered and took route to NY State. UTV's and campers all headed to our destination. Side by sides loaded on the trailers to navigate the trails as our journey begins. Although we did not get to start our journey at the club we initially anticipated, we did get to start in the correct region .
Special thanks to Southern Tug Hill President Christopher Rink and Vice President Brian Bedell for organizing our groups and having a plan in place for us. We appreciate the leadership your club provided. Also, for allowing us to help add additional signage to your trails. Looking forward to continuing to work with your club again in the future.
