We have started a 501(c)(3) non-profit in honor of
Dylan to fulfill his legacy of making snowmobile trails safer for everyone. All
proceeds from our events, sponsors, and donations will help us make these
changes possible. We are first beginning to make changes in New York State
where Dylan’s accident took place. This is where our journey starts.
We plan to improve
the trails’ signage, such as marking trails with an abundance of large
reflective turn signs and speed limit signs that are placed at the appropriate
turns, curves, and straightaways. Along with the signage, we are also pushing
for there to be more police presence on trails to help ensure riders can enjoy
the trails safely and responsibly. In hope of preventing tragedies like this in
the future, we will continue to try to make a difference on many trails.
